This electronic compass features a fluxgate sensor with a floating core eliminating the need for a conventional pivot mounting. The internal processor ensures that following auto-calibration an accuracy of ±0.5 degree can be achieved and this process can easily be set up from the external control buttons on the case. The unit is designed to operate at up to 45 degrees of tilt and issues heading data in two industry standard formats, NMEA0183 and FURUNO AD-10.

Supplied with 10 mtr cable and fixing kit.

An optional software configuration utility (PC windows based) is available for systems installers Free of Charge to adjust parameters such as damping, NMEA sentence content and warm up time prior to installation.
